Two incredible and generous humans got married in May of 2021 in the quiet community of Bedford, New York. Christina and Chris are those two people, and their love story is unforgettable! Their paths crossed about seven years ago at a Soul Cycle class taught by Christina. Chris showed up one day and kept coming back! While most Soul Cycle enthusiasts are hard-core and loyal to their instructors, Chris had another obvious reason for returning -- I mean she's a smoke-show! Several years into their relationship, Chris came across a home in Bedford and bought it with the sole intention of hosting their wedding there one day, unbeknownst to Christina. In the middle of the country, on a quiet dead end street, this beautiful home was the perfect setting for such a celebration. It was here that Chris would propose months later on the dock by the lake where they also had their first look on their wedding day. Being married in this home would bring full circle so many milestones in their lives. Their weekend began with a welcome dinner for all at The Whitlock, one of my and now their favorite restaurants in Katonah. They may be seen there on any given weekend taking in the small town atmosphere and Cheers-like community. After a night of pre-celebrations and libations, Chris and the boys settled into The Bedford Post Inn to get a good night's sleep, while Christina began getting ready at their home. Family and friends flew in from all over the country and shuttles were provided from NYC where they live during the week. As guests arrived, sparkling water and light cocktails greeted them in the front yard before the ceremony began. While Chris waited beneath the gorgeous and lush arch, Christina walked down the aisle with her brother and pups Leroy and Wein! Immediately following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour poolside with light bites and specialty cocktails before entering the main reception tent, which featured multiple lounge areas, cocktail tables, and two bars instead of the traditional formal seating. With their shared passion for all types of music, the playlist was hand-picked by the couple, and we all danced under the clear tent and twinkle lights, illuminating the country sky.
