This classic, black tie wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut definitely took me out of my creative box and challenged my design chops! Anyone who knows me well (or even a little!) knows that pink and sequin is not my normal forté! My personal style is bold and edgy mixed with a bit of tradition. But Bonnie + Zak's vision for their wedding design was so fun I couldn't pass up tapping into the "girly-girl" in me and step out of my comfort zone. Bonnie chose sea glass and blush tonal colors along with a touch of gold for her wedding; and of course SPARKLE and SEQUINS linens from Abbey Tent and Party Rentals were a must! Her color choices definitely matched her style, bubbly personality and the perfectly sunny day nature gave us on July 8, 2016. Working with this family was super fun and I felt like I had a second Mom with Joanne and I was actually sad when the planning was over. Maybe I'll get to plan another wedding for their other children one day ... hint, hint! This amazing day started with Glam Squad Dana Bartone + Co beautifying the ladies while our set up team worked along side Fleurescent and Vivid Events to set up the ceremony and reception room. Beats were provided by the phenomenal Spencer of Turntable Events and sweets by Palmer's Bakery. Well enough chit-chatting and scroll down from some pretty by Meg Miller Photography // Film by The Light Mill Film Studios. Enjoy! PS.
