There are some wedding venues we've worked at that are super gorgeous...then there are some venues that simply take your breath away. The Branford House in Groton, CT is without a doubt the latter. It puts Disney castles to shame and will make any bride feel like #PrincessGoals. This venue is seriously Pinterest-worthy and if you read on you'll see exactly why we just love when a bride and groom pick this venue for their "I do's." Built in the 19th century, the Branford House is nestled on the shoreline of the Avery Point campus of Connecticut University. It was modeled after the Newport Mansions and has a beautiful panoramic view of Fishers Island and Long Island Sound. The regal entryway, ballroom, and stone veranda are just some of the elegant rooms we look forward to designing when we book a wedding at this venue. Some killer features of this venue are of course its gorgeous two-story marble fireplace, rococo ceilings, and it's ornately carved dark wood walls. But that's enough out of me. I like to let the images speak for themselves! Check out one of our fave Connecticut venues below!
