Jenga, Croquet and a killer Brunch! That's what Lauren + Darrel wanted for their late October, intimate, fall wedding at Connecticut's historical Keeler Tavern and Museum in Ridgfield. The day was perfect, and the rain kept itself at bay while they and about sixty of their guests enjoyed lawn games, bourbon and Korean Short Ribs from Bailey's Backyard Catering. Lauren created all their own decor, while Darrel designed all their paper for the day. Blues and Jazz played in the background by Early Bird Jazz Band and their guests mingled and enjoyed cocktails and lawn games on the museum grounds. Brunch weddings have always been my favorite from the first one we did back in 2013. They are so intimate and purposeful, focusing on gathering your closest people over good food and love. We all know food is how we bring people together and Lauren + Darrel's guests enjoyed every bite ... and then some! And who are we to kid -- we'll take being done working by 5pm any day!
