Laura & Nate's Colorful Bali Inspired Wedding at The J House in Greenwich, CT

Oh, Laura + Nate! Our first wedding of the 2017 season and one of my faves of all time! To say this was a labor of love is an understatement. Laura, Nate and Marita (MOB) were so open and gung-ho to all our out of the box ideas, which obviously made the design process super fun and unique!

First, getting the design team together! Obviously, the trifecta of myself, Shindig Lighting and Fleurescent were the main peeps to get the vision going (we work together A LOT!). Numerous mock-ups, building custom chandeliers, and a chuppah onsite in the pouring rain, and a few design fails along the way -- we rounded out the team with Gather + Lounge for tabletop and lounge furniture, and the oh so awesome, Social Alchemy for all things paper!

Color was the only requirement for this Brooklyn couple, and COLOR is what they got! Elizabeth from Fleurescent nailed it from the centerpieces to their personal florals, and the floral LED chandeliers she and Dan custom built (six of them!) were more than anything I could have imagined or drawn. Marbled table numbers, escorts and menu cards, along with gold china, goblets and flatware from PEAK Event completed the look.

Of course, it being May, Mother Nature decided to rain on us but that didn't stop anyone from cutting a rug and and having the best time to beats and vocals from KAZZ Music! Just check out the photo stills of their first dance!
