GRETA + BRIANMaggie and Double G Events made my wedding vision come true. I hired Maggie shortly after I became engaged, 18 months before my wedding, for full service planning. Since I'm relatively new to CT and my family and friends live far away, I was in need of someone to recommend the most reputable vendors I could afford, go to all of my vendor appointments with me, coordinate the day of, and to give me sound design advice. Maggie was all of those things and more! I already had a vision for my wedding, but she had the expertise to execute it. She went with me to 3 venues, attended cake and catering tastings, dress fittings, floral and photography appointments, and created and kept track of my budget. Maggie was always available by phone and email and very prompt to reply to messages. She and her team were the picture of professionalism. She coordinated my wedding day flawlessly; I showed up stress-free and all I had to do was marry my best friend. I received endless compliments on how beautifully it all came out, but much of the credit belongs to Maggie and her team. I would 110% recommend Double G Events and hire them again in a heart beat, but I won't need to!

AMANDA + MARKMaggie was absolutely amazing from day one. She is so easy to get along with, and always so willing to go above and beyond to help in any situation. As the case is for many brides, it is not as though YOU have planned a wedding before, but Maggie has and she is fantastic! I had a DIY wedding, I literally had to start from the ground up, and Maggie was there for every phone call, email, concerned suggestion from a parent, ANYTHING, despite the fact that my groomzilla changed the date or venue a total of 3 times. Not only was that, but my ceremony helper, Gail, also incredible. She got to my house; made sure I was calm and didn't bat an eye when I was still in my corset! Everyone was so wonderful and helpful at the wedding. My mother, the most critical person in the world, said how amazing Maggie and her team were. If that isn't a glowing recommendation, I don't know what one is. If I could tell future brides one piece of advice, it is that it was so wonderful to know that all I had to do was glance at Maggie or one of her assistants and they would rush over with a smile to help with any problems. The best part though, was having Maggie there, THERE WEREN'T ANY PROBLEMS!!!!

NICHOLE + NICKI still cannot believe that Double G Events was able to plan the wedding of my dreams in only 4 months. Maggie is extremely professional, gives great advice and is super friendly. She also has great taste and was able to help me create beautiful decor that was cohesive and also a reflection of my husband and I's personal taste. We are both artists so it was important that our wedding was beautiful without feeling stuffy. We had an outdoor wedding in Greenwich, Connecticut and Double G Events was able to help us find rentals, catering and everything else we needed. I am forever grateful to them!

LINLEY + JOEYI cannot put into words how incredible the team at Double G Events is! Let me start by saying I wasn’t sure that I wanted to hire a wedding planner, not because of the cost per se, but because I am so "Type A" that I wasn’t sure I could find anyone that could meet my expectations….BOY WAS I WRONG. Maggie and her entire team far surpassed my expectations. The entire year and a half spent planning my wedding was filled with extreme attention to detail, organization, care, support, and honest friendship! The months leading up to my wedding and my entire wedding weekend (Events Friday through Sunday) were perfectly organized and most importantly low stress for me!

TRISHA + MIKEMaggie and her team did an excellent job from beginning to end. Maggie took the time to get to know my fiance and I and it made her stand out from other candidates. She was always quick to respond to questions we had. We were out of the country for the majority of the time before our wedding and Maggie was great about making sure everything was taken care of. We told her our vision and she executed it to a T. Rhonda was especially helpful checking in with me throughout the night to make sure I was happy and getting enough to eat and drink. I can truly say our wedding would not have been as fabulous without Maggie and her team.

SARAH + MIKEWedding planning is supposed to be a memorable once in a life time memory. However, every bride knows the stress, the endless emails, payments, details and contracts that follow - and it can bring a little brideziilla out of everyone. While we were hesitant to spend the money on a wedding planner; Double G Events ended up to be the best investment of my wedding. Maggie helped me plan my backyard wedding down to every last detail. She handled emails, brought all the vendors together, thought of everything from mosquito spray for the yard to town licensing. She not only saw my wedding inspiration but built on it. I honestly don't know how I would have completed the wedding without her, she went above and beyond, especially at the occasional midnight panicked emails- which were always responded by an immediate phone call that would calm anyone's nerves. I don't know how she does it, but she knows all the right words for all the right moments for all the wrong freak-outs. On the day of, her team was fabulous. I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. While Maggie still ran the show, Trish was there for my every need - nerves, a torn bustle - you name it. Needless to say, I could not thank Maggie and Double G Events enough for not only making my dream wedding perfect, but for truly making the entire process fun and memorable.
IVONNE + WILLIAMMaggie and her team were professional, organized and punctual. Maggie stayed within my budget and helped to organize everything for the wedding. She had vendors, organizational tools and a great attitude. She and her team were easy to work with and understood my vision for the wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Double G Events to my friends to plan their weddings. CHRISTINA + ROBWe hired Double G Events to help us setup our wedding on August 24th and couldn't be happier with their services. We were initially hesitant in hiring someone to coordinate the day of since we were on a budget but looking back now, there is no way we could have pulled it off on our own, especially since our venue didn't have a maitre d' or crew. Maggie took over communication with all of our vendors to be sure everyone was on point, she created a timeline and helped us map out the flow of the event. When our caterer delivered our linens in the wrong color, she helped us get the right color in less than 2 hours. She was there when we needed her from the moment of vendor take-over until the end of the wedding. On the day-of, the Double G team set up all of our decorations, flowers, tables, chairs and everything else we threw their way, we couldn't thank them enough for all of their help. Part of the team was my awesome assistant, Trisha who was a few steps away from me the entire day. She made sure I was on schedule, held on to things I would need and brought me food/water when I was too involved to realize I needed it. These are just the some of the things they helped with, I could go on and on with little details! To sum up my experience, Double G made our day more special and there's no doubt our wedding would have been a disaster without them.

There's no way we would have been able to pull off a complex wedding (2 ceremonies and 2 receptions in 1 day) without them! ALIZA + MATTI hired Maggie a year and a half before my wedding, thus, we spent a lot of time together, talking, planning, emailing, texting...she became a huge part of my life and someone I would now consider a friend. She is the height of professionalism, I felt very confident leading up to the final days before my wedding, I knew she had it completely under control! Maggie is super organized, I feel like some of her organizational skills MIGHT of rubbed off on me! ;) The day of my wedding, the decor looked incredible, she and her team made my vision come to life perfectly!

ERIKA + RANDYMaggie and Double G Events made our day seamless with perfect execution! As our day approached, I realized that I had to coordinate across many vendors to ensure our wedding day would go smoothly. My fiance and I had done the heavy lifting in selecting vendors, negotiating the rates and contracting with each of them, but as the weeks passed I realized there was still much to confirm and execute on. I started to panic! From the moment Maggie signed on, she grabbed the reins and coordinated across the venue, all of the vendors, the rabbi, etc. She created the most amazing timeline to help guide our day, as well as the necessary steps leading up to the event.

JESSICA + GREGMaggie is the best! She truly understands and meets each of her clients needs. Our backyard wedding was more beautiful than any venue I could have imagined, and the party was simply a blast!! Maggie was on top of all of our wishes and concerns, and what I was most impressed with was how flexible she was when plans changed. Back yard weddings are so hard to plan and can be easily disorganized since EVERYTHING is being brought in to the back yard. But Maggie made the process SEAMLESS!
