ASHLEY, EVENT MANAGER + LEAD COORDINATOR
Hello, Hello! I’m Ashley and I want to take you on a journey of my life and how I got where I am today!
One of my first big-girl accomplishments was receiving my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at Sacred Heart University in 2013. While in school my professional journey started by working in the Financial Aid Office for all four of those years. I was involved in my friends Political and International Studies Club and partook in Intramural Volleyball. Being in an office environment is always home to me. I enjoy planning out my monthly duties and making my desk organized, yet chic. I always knew wherever I ended up there would be a desk and a chair and I was happy with that! Once my senior year rolled around, I was fortunate enough to know someone who could face me in that direction. Success struck and that year I started interning for Double G Events.
I truly enjoy the organization and preparation aspect of event planning, especially for weddings. I love being able to take our client's ideas and bring them to life while still having that element of surprise and wow factor! I am a lover at heart and forever the hopeful romantic.
When I’m not busy planning weddings, I enjoy playing sports, pigging out, going to the beach, perfecting my photography skills, surrounding myself with family and friends, traveling with my love, indulging in poetry and more!
ASHLEY, LEAD PLANNER
I'm Ashley! I am originally from Connecticut! After growing up in the north, I decided I wanted to try a new adventure, so I packed my bags and moved down to South Carolina and graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2014 with a degree in Business Administration focusing on Hospitality and Marketing.
Through some dumb luck and a super friendly sorority sister, I fell into the lap of one of the best wedding planners in South Carolina. She gave me a shot and offered me a once in a lifetime opportunity; an internship that, at the time, I thought would just be a fun way to get this school requirement out of the way, but boy was I wrong! Not only did I find a deep passion for the industry, but I also found a sense of fulfillment and confidence about myself that I had never knew before. Sitting down with a client and bringing their dreams to reality is pure happiness for me! Turning an ordinary day into something magical is what I live and breathe and being a part of their special day and sharing in their love is is a huge inspiration. I love that I can challenge myself working in this industry to constantly strive to further success and improve myself as well as the success of the events that I work on.

Travel junkie, closet nerd, beach bum and rescue mom. That's me!
When I'm not working, you will find me planning my next trip, laying on the beach, taking my rescue pup Dublin on a hike or fueling my obsession with anything pineapple and shoes! Though I don't have any pineapple shoes ... yet!
I love having my friends over and hosting Football Sundays, Girls Nights with wine or just trying out a new recipe! I've been told I make a killer Bolognese sauce!
Fun Fact(!): Although I joined the Double G Events team in 2016, I was dGE's first official bride nine years ago, and have stayed friends with Maggie ever since!
RHONDA, CEREMONY COORDINATOR
Rhonda is a native of Connecticut and is a graduate of Sacred Heart University. She has been in the events industry for over ten years and first joined the Double G Events team in 2012 as a Day of Coordinator.
Rhonda is a true "people person" and brings one of a kind care and attention to detail that our brand strives to impress upon their clients and is a true asset to our company. She whole-heartedly enjoys working with her couples and their families in preparing and bringing to life their special day!
Rhonda currently resides in Connecticut with her two children and in her down time pursues her passions for entertaining, cooking, reading and enjoying the sun at the beach.
